We have been receiving a number of questions in relation to the eligibility of practice owners and employees, particularly the eligibility around part-time work and sole traders.
The eligibility of sole trader practitioners with permanent part-time employment, generally the practitioners will not be entitled to the benefits. However, the practice should be able to apply on your behalf and be eligible.
We are unsure if the ATO will change their view around the above but at the time of writing this, this has been the verdict.
The above applies only to sole trader doctors.
